Sunday, June 12, 2011 from 2 pm - 4 pm
TC Williams High School
3330 King Street, Alexandria

This always-popular arts festival and education concert returns in 2011 with a focus on RAZZ-MA-JAZZ: The incredible music, art and literature of the Harlem Renaissance.

2 pm - 4 pm: Activities - instrument petting zoo, art stations, dance and reading center

Concerts either at 2:30 pm or 3:30 pm

Free parking in the TC Williams garage.

The RAZZ-MA-JAZZ 2011 Festival will be different from previous ones in several important ways. The activities will be a full 2 hours, from 2pm-4pm, and families may pick from two concerts for the first time, one at 2:30 and the second at 3:30. The concerts will be 30-minute entertaining performances introducing music of The Harlem Renaissance (Ellington, Porter, Gershwin, and even some Charlie Parker). The Festival will take place at TC Williams High School in Alexandria.
