The Music of Dreams
Spanning the orchestral cannon, highlights during the 2011-2012 Season include Berlioz Symphonie fantastique, Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No. 2, Mozart Requiem, Saint-Saens Symphony No. 3 "Organ", Holst The Planets. Featured soloists include legendary violinist Midori, pianist Carlos Rodriguez, and clarinetist Richard Stoltzman. The Metropolitan Chorus will once again appear with the ASO in the Mozart.
